Corporate Hypnosis & Comedy
When it comes to corporations, I am a motivational hypnotist with a funny bone. For corporate events, obviously I can put on a very funny stage show with volunteers from your group. Once I introduce myself, I will show your people, from top producers to everyone else, examples of how and why they put the brakes on and even sabotage their potential income, their business relationships and their health. And I will teach them techniques to eliminate those self defeating thoughts and behaviors as well as techniques to improve all of the above, often known as self hypnosis.
Quite often, when practicing those techniques, their mental focus, their health and their income will greatly improve. And all of this is accomplished while showing the amazing power of the mind and how you can do so much more in business as well as in life by hypnotizing some volunteers and putting them through some very funny and very entertaining skits, often with an underlying message.
In order for a hypnosis stage show to be successful, everyone who will be attending the show needs to be told as far in advance as possible that there will be a hypnotist on stage who will be asking for volunteers to come up on stage to be hypnotized.
This advanced notice fires up their imagination as to what hypnosis may or may not be. This creates expectation. Expectation puts a lot of people into a light hypnotic trance. And all of this helps the hypnotist get some of those people to volunteer to come on stage.
The opposite is also true. If you spring it on people that are already at the event that there is a hypnotist, you will be doomed to fail. No one will volunteer.
The perfect amount of chairs on a large stage should be 12 but no more than 15. There should be hopefully an equal amount of male and female participants and the hypnotist will see to that. Every other person should be performing something in order to keep the stage alive.
For corporate events, where a wireless microphone and a good sound system is necessary, I charge $5,000 and as much as $7,000 depending on the type of event and the amount and type of people who will be attending (sales crew, managers/recruiters or staff). Contact me. We'll discuss it.
For small gatherings, whether it be for home parties, schools or small get-togethers, where a stage may or may not be necessary, I charge $500 with no time limit for the day and possibly more if I have to travel long distance. The performance itself will take an average of 1 1/2 hours depending on your schedule.
I have my own wireless lapel mic as well as a wireless handheld mic and a XLR wireless receiver which allows me to send songs from my phone to your sound system.
You will need to supply the sound system. Hopefully, the speakers are not in the ceiling; poor sound. I will need to have 3 XLR inputs OR 1 XLR input and a 1/4" input jack on your sound system (mixer) so that I can plug in my mics and my music.
I'm a member of N.A.M.E., National Association of Mobile Entertainers, Inc. where I get my insurance for stage hypnosis through Brown & Brown Insurance.
No participants on a hypnosis stage have ever been injured and no stage hypnotist has ever been sued. Regardless, much like homeowner's insurance, you as an event host are still liable for your event, your patrons, and the actions of your patrons, the facility in which you hold your show, the safety of your stage, foods or beverages including alcohol, slips and falls on the property and other liability issues for which you should have insurance for.
Everyone under hypnosis is told to stay away from the edge of the stage for safety sake. I tell them there's an invisible barrier there that they cannot get close to.
Below is my 1 1/2' x 3' banner that I sometimes put outside the event.
